An item checked out to another borrower or is located in storage may be requested by clicking the Request button in the UF Library Catalog record. In Process or In Transit items not yet on the open shelves may be requested by clicking on the Request link in the catalog. Items without a Request link can be requested by completing the Online Request Form. For other ways to gain access to books, check out the Find Books page.
Multiple requests for the same item are handled in the order received. Borrowers will be notified via email when a needed item is available.
Items from Storage are typically available the following business day.
