The PDF guide below explains how to access your course content by creating an account in Ares, searching and adding courses, and other useful information.
Print books on Course Reserves are not being loaned during this time, but a number of electronic resources may be available for your course.
Please check the Course Reserves system to see if the items you need for your course are available electronically by signing in with your UF username and password at https://ares.uflib.ufl.edu/. You can also search our library catalog to see if books needed for your course are available in our collections at https://uf.catalog.fcla.edu/uf.jsp.
Some Course Reserves materials are available through Electronic Reserves. These can include links to ebooks, links to open access resources, links to articles in UF library databases, or sections of books. Ebooks and database articles can be accessed through the UF library catalog as long as you are connected to the UF Gatorlink Virtual Private Network (VPN). Otherwise, any electronic resources required by your instructor can be found under Ares Course Reserves in the Canvas dashboard. If your instructor does not use Canvas, create an Ares account and access the reserves directly. For more information on Ares and your Canvas account, please see the Student Guide for accessing Course Reserve materials.
We recommend using Chrome or Firefox with the Ares Course Reserves system.
