How to Request UF Books to Be Shipped to You:
Follow these steps to submit a Distance Delivery request:
- Navigate to the UF Library Catalog. Click Sign In on the top right corner of the screen. Log in using your GatorLink credentials.
- Search for the item you are looking for by title, ISBN, or other citation information.
- Find the item you are looking for in the search. Once you find the correct item, click Request. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, submit an Interlibrary Loan request.
- In the first dropdown menu, select Ship to Me. If you do not see Ship to Me as an option, you need to register for distance user services.
- Click Send. A green box will appear confirming that your request was successfully placed. You will also receive an email confirmation.
How To Renew:
Follow these steps to renew Distance Delivery items:
- Log in to your UF Library Account.
- Click Menu in the top right corner of the screen and then select My Loans.
- Find the item and click Renew.
Renewals may be limited if:
- The item is requested by another borrower.
- You have an overdue item on your account.
- Please note that renewal of your item(s) does not remove any overdue fines. If you return items late or renew after the due date, you are responsible for any fines accrued.
